Craftsmanship

• Hand-Thrown & High-Temperature Bisque Firing: Jingdezhen kaolin clay is hand-thrown into the waisted coffee cup form, meticulously trimmed to the 7.5cm rim, 8.5cm height, and 7.5cm max width. The raw clay undergoes 1280℃ high-temperature bisque firing to form a dense, jade-like white porcelain base with a smooth, luminous finish
• High-Temperature Brown Glaze Firing: After bisque firing, a uniform brown glaze is applied to the entire outer surface, followed by a second high-temperature firing at 1300℃ to create a durable, glossy deep brown glaze layer
• Enamel Gilding Hand-Painting & Gradient Shading: Master artisans use hair-thin brushes to hand-paint floral, border, and handle motifs. The color separation & layered dyeing technique is applied, with 3–5 layers of subtle shading to render lifelike texture and depth
• 4-Step Firing Process: After painting, the cup undergoes 2 separate low-temperature firings at 780℃~820℃ to set the enamel pigments.
