Appearance & Style

  • Elegant Cup Silhouette: Hollow high-footed, waisted body (H7cm), flared rim (Ø9.5cm diameter), stable high foot (Base Diameter 5cm), paired with a delicate ruyi-shaped curved handle—blending Chinese literati grace and Western courtly luxury
  • Round Saucer: Classic round saucer (Ø16cm × H2.5cm) with recessed center for stable cup placement, mirroring the cup’s intricate gilded court-style floral and tassel decoration, with a thin gold rim for a luxurious finish
  • Luminous Coral Red Glaze: Deep, glossy coral red glaze base that amplifies the lavish 24K pure gold gilding and vibrant court-style floral hues, creating a striking contrast of red and gold
  • Sino-Western Court Aesthetic: Fusion of Chinese imperial coral red glaze, gilding craft and Western decorative motifs, embodying timeless Oriental opulence and Western courtly elegance
  • Auspicious Symbolism: Court-style floral motifs represent "prosperity, wealth and noble honor"; tassel motifs symbolize "endless blessings and good fortune"—ideal for wedding, housewarming, and high-end gifting

Craftsmanship

  • Hand-Thrown & High-Temperature Bisque Firing: Jingdezhen kaolin clay is hand-thrown into the cup and saucer forms, meticulously trimmed to the 9.5cm rim and 16cm saucer diameter. The raw clay undergoes 1280℃ high-temperature bisque firing to form a dense, jade-like white porcelain base with a smooth, luminous finish
  • High-Temperature Coral Red Glaze Firing: After bisque firing, a uniform coral red glaze is applied to the entire outer surface, followed by a second high-temperature firing at 1300℃ to create a durable, glossy deep red glaze layer
  • Gilded Court-Style Hand-Painting: Master artisans use hair-thin brushes to hand-paint court-style floral, tassel and geometric motifs. 24K pure gold is inlaid along all edges and decorative bands for a luxurious, radiant luster
  • 4-Step Firing Process: After painting, the set undergoes 2 separate low-temperature firings at 780℃~820℃ to set the pigments. This is followed by a third low-temperature firing at 600℃~700℃ to secure the gold gilding. A final quality-control firing ensures all layers are locked permanently, resulting in fade-resistant, scratch-resistant color and brilliant gold luster
  • Low Yield Rate: The ultra-fine hand-painting and multi-temperature firing demand extreme precision, resulting in a final yield rate of only 25%~30%—each set is a rare, handcrafted collectible art piece
