  • Vivid Cyclamen Motifs: Intricately hand-painted famille rose pink cyclamen patterns (symbolizing "gentle beauty and good fortune") covering the cup body, with delicate leaf and bud details rendered in gongbi brushwork
  • Luminous Carmine Red Glaze: Deep, glossy carmine red glaze base that amplifies the vibrant pink cyclamen hues, paired with a thin 24K pure gold rim for a touch of imperial luxury
  • Qing Imperial Court Aesthetic: Fusion of carmine red (imperial enamel) craft and Western coffee cup design, embodying timeless Oriental opulence and understated courtly elegance
  • Auspicious Symbolism: Cyclamen motifs represent "gentle elegance, good fortune and hope"—ideal for wedding, housewarming, and celebratory gifting

Craftsmanship

  • Hand-Thrown & High-Temperature Bisque Firing: Jingdezhen kaolin clay is hand-thrown into the waisted coffee cup form, meticulously trimmed to the 7cm rim, 10cm height, and 7.5cm width. The raw clay undergoes 1280℃ high-temperature bisque firing to form a dense, jade-like white porcelain base with a smooth, luminous finish
  • High-Temperature Carmine Red Glaze Firing: After bisque firing, a uniform carmine red glaze is applied to the entire outer surface, followed by a second high-temperature firing at 1300℃ to create a durable, glossy deep red glaze layer
  • Famille Rose Hand-Painting & Gradient Shading: Master artisans use hair-thin brushes to hand-paint cyclamen, buds, and foliage motifs. The color separation & layered dyeing technique is applied, with 3–5 layers of subtle shading to render lifelike petal veins and leaf texture
  • 4-Step Firing Process: After painting, the cup undergoes 2 separate low-temperature firings at 780℃~820℃ to set the famille rose pigments. This is followed by hand-applied 24K pure gold gilding on the rim, then a third low-temperature firing at 600℃~700℃ to secure the gilding. A final quality-control firing ensures all layers are locked permanently, resulting in fade-resistant, scratch-resistant color and luster
  • Low Yield Rate: The ultra-fine hand-painting and multi-temperature firing demand extreme precision, resulting in a final yield rate of only 25%~30%—each piece is a rare, handcrafted collectible
