Craftsmanship

• Hand-Thrown & High-Temperature Bisque Firing: Jingdezhen kaolin clay is hand-thrown into the tall coffee cup form, meticulously trimmed to the 7cm rim, 11~11.5cm height, and 7cm width. The raw clay undergoes 1280℃ high-temperature bisque firing to form a dense, jade-like white porcelain base with a smooth, luminous finish
• High-Temperature Carmine Red Glaze Firing: After bisque firing, a uniform carmine red glaze is applied to the entire outer surface, followed by a second high-temperature firing at 1300℃ to create a durable, glossy deep red glaze layer
• Famille Rose Hand-Painting & Gradient Shading: Master artisans use hair-thin brushes to hand-paint peony blooms, buds, and foliage motifs. The color separation & layered dyeing technique is applied, with 3–5 layers of subtle shading to render lifelike petal veins and leaf texture
• 4-Step Firing Process: After painting, the cup undergoes 2 separate low-temperature firings at 780℃~820℃ to set the famille rose pigments.
